During World War II, a select group of young, daring, female pilots became not only pioneers but heroes. They were the WASP (Womens AirForce Service Pilots), the first women trained to fly American military aircraft. They served domestically, ferrying and testing, towing targets and training men to fly.
The Museum is housed in the Historical Assembly Building located at 720 Channel Blvd in Topsail Beach (at the intersection of Channel Blvd. and Flake St.).
