We’re excited to announce that Roll Back Service will officially begin Monday, June 1, 2026!
What you can expect:
- Following trash and recycling collection, crews will begin rolling trash and recycling carts out of the Right-Of-Way (ROW) starting Monday. Although they will not be rolled all the way back to a property’s house, they will be moved out of the ROW in an effort to increase pedestrian and road safety.
- Property Owners/Visitors are still responsible for rolling carts to the street for pick up.
- Crews will also begin report broken carts directly to GFL for property owners.
- If a broken cart is missed or trash/recycling wasn’t picked up, property owners can still report these to GFL (252-339-0290) or the Town Hall (910-328-5841).
Summer Schedule – 2nd Pick Up
With the season officially starting, Trash pickup will be twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays. As a reminder, Recycling will continue to be on Mondays only.
